When you file your taxes next season (2009) you can claim 15% on a landscaping project whose expenditures exceed $1,000 but is no more than $10,000. This would allow for a maximum tax credit of $1,350.
Projects which include the following are eligible:
New sod, Trees, Shrubs, Perennials, Interlocking driveways, Decks, Retaining walls, Pathways, Irrigation and lighting systems, Ponds and waterfalls, Garden sheds, Professional landscape design services and Professional landscape contractor services
